> Question: What is the distinction between 'what is revealed' and 'what is indicated'? Answer: As for 'what is revealed', in this true principle, in accordance with the conditions of practice and cultivation, there is that which can be revealed; converting principle into practice, it is revealed through condition-illumining understanding and the severing of delusion—hence it is called 'what is revealed'. As for 'what is indicated', the principle-essence of tathatā is equal and of one flavor, beyond speech and free from marks. However, principle does not reveal itself; it is indicated by relying upon phenomena—hence it is called 'what is indicated'.
