大乘起信論別記 1.87

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.87](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1845.1.87)

「而有其念」者，是業相等之動念。是如邪方，如離正方外無別邪方，邪方即是正方，故言「念無自相不離本覺」。次明本覺待不覺義。

> "Yet there are its thoughts" refers to the moving thoughts of the karmic characteristic and the rest. This is like the wrong direction: just as apart from the correct direction there is no separate wrong direction, and the wrong direction is itself the correct direction, so it says, "Thoughts have no self-characteristic and are not separate from innate enlightenment." Next, it explains the meaning of innate enlightenment depending on non-enlightenment.
