大乘起信論義記 2.195

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.195](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1846.2.195)

法中，初不了如理一味故，釋根本不覺義，如迷正方也。不覺念起者，業等相念，即邪方也。「念無自相」下，明邪無別體，不離正方也，即明不覺不離覺也。

> Within the doctrine, first, because of not understanding the single taste of reality as it is, it explains the meaning of fundamental non-enlightenment, like being confused about the correct direction. “The non-enlightened mind arises and there is thought” refers to thoughts with marks such as karma, which are like the wrong direction. From “thought has no self-mark” onward, it explains that the wrong direction has no separate essence and is not separated from the correct direction; that is, it explains that non-enlightenment is not separated from enlightenment.
