- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [3.64](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1846.3.64)

> Furthermore, among the former three coarse ones, the latter two—namely the continuation-conjoined and the discriminating-knowledge-conjoined defilements—are somewhat subtle within the coarse mind, hence they are called 'the subtlest among the coarse'. Regarding 'the coarsest among the subtle': the latter three defiled minds are all called subtle; among them, the former two, namely the ability to perceive and the ability to manifest, are these. Being equally unconjoined, they are called subtle; compared with the subsequent fundamental karmic consciousness, they are again called coarse. These are the realms known in the stages of bodhisattvas on or below the ten grounds.
