The doubt says: "Since these dharmas do not exist, how is there conceptual differentiation?" The explanation says: "All conceptual differentiation is simply conceptually differentiating one's own mind." Again, it might be asked: "If it is like this, then one should see the mind." Therefore, the explanation says that "the mind does not see the mind," conversely clarifying that all conceptual differentiations are entirely false. Again, the doubt says: "Why does the mind not see the mind?" The explanation says: "No mark can be obtained." This means that because the mind has no mark, one cannot see the mind. Furthermore, outside the mind there is not a single dharma; one should know that whatever is seen is entirely false seeing. When subject and object are both tranquil, only the One Mind remains; this is the true nature revealed under the gate of the emptiness of dharmas.
