起信論疏筆削記 15.28

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [15.28](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1848.15.28)

> \[Commentary\] 'Answer: This is explained in terms of ...' \[marks\] the fourteenth: the reply that cause and result lack an intrinsic nature and share the same source. The idea is: what is said about being 'born from practice' merely means that because original enlightenment follows the flow and becomes defiled, and actualized enlightenment reverses the flow and becomes pure, there is the teaching that practice brings it about. If one strictly examines the true mind, it has no difference whatsoever from the Buddha's essence; thus cause and result, delusion and awakening, are completely without distinction. Here the commentary consistently explains that actualized enlightenment is identical with original enlightenment to demonstrate non-distinction, taking the result to illustrate the cause.
