> \[The passage from\] "each and every" onwards is, second, revealing the characteristics of the complete sound, in four parts. Here is the first: directly revealing them. Pervading and exhausting the realm of sentient beings is the meaning of "complete"; remaining constantly unconfused is the meaning of "sound". Furthermore, "pervading and exhausting" means that all six destinies hear it; "unconfused" means that the five notes are distinctly different. Furthermore, "pervading and exhausting" means that the three vehicles listen together; "unconfused" means that their received understandings each differ.
