> Śāstra: "Not one..." below: second, the four propositions on oneness and difference. Commentary: "According to the preceding..." and so forth: the preceding was merely about existence and non-existence, while this is about oneness and difference; the two clingings differ, but the rest are identical; it can be understood merely by correlating and explaining as in the preceding commentary. "However, clinging..." below: concludes the general subsuming the particulars, meaning that the graspings clung to by sentient beings are limitless and boundless, fundamentally arising from these two sets of four propositions. Therefore, the hundred negations are spoken of solely based on this, the meaning of which was seen in the preceding text. "Therefore broadly..." below: cites an analogy. "All are non-real": these are delusive conceptual attachments that do not accord with true principle, identical to these two sets of four propositions on existence/non-existence and oneness/difference. "What is clung to differs": four people each cling to one proposition. "Existence" is the proposition of existence, which is dismissed by this first proposition; "non-existence" is the proposition of non-existence, which is dismissed by this second proposition; "both" is the proposition of both existence and non-existence, which is dismissed by this fourth proposition; "neither" is the proposition of neither existence nor non-existence, which is dismissed by this third proposition. "Oneness" and so forth are correlated by this analogy. "Correlated in order": correlated into four propositions as above; however, this is solely correlated with respect to their \[views\], not correlated directly with this śāstra—all are delusive clingings, hence called "non-real".
