- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [9.14](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1848.9.14)

疏三：初、總敘意，文七：今初、略標大意。麁則滅相，細則生相，中間相望互通麁細。寄顯等者，寄託四種塵勞相上，顯明始覺功力分齊，是則約所覺之麁細，辨能覺之淺深也。

> Commentary, three parts: First, general account of the intention, which has seven texts. Now, the first: briefly indicating the general meaning. The coarse is the mark of cessation; the subtle is the mark of arising; viewed relatively between them, they mutually partake of coarse and subtle. As for "entrusted to reveal," etc.: entrusted upon the marks of the four kinds of defilements to reveal and clarify the scope and efficacy of actualized enlightenment; this then distinguishes the depth or shallowness of the cognizing awakening by relying on the coarseness or subtlety of that which is awakened.
