大乘起信論裂網疏 3.123

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [3.123](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1850.3.123)

眾生亦爾。以無明力令其心動，無明滅故動相即滅，非心體滅。若心滅者，則眾生斷，以無所依、無能依故。

> \[Śāstra:\] Sentient beings are also like this. Due to the power of nescience, their minds are caused to move; because nescience ceases, the moving marks immediately cease, but the essence of the mind does not cease. If the mind ceased, then sentient beings would be severed, because there would be neither that which is relied upon nor that which can rely upon it.
