大乘義章 1.102

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.102](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1851.1.102)

> In the second section, the profound subsumes the shallow, and \[the two truths\] are fully discussed according to their meanings. In the first school, fully discussed according to their meanings, there are seven types in all: first, the distinction between sentiment and principle; second, the distinction between nominal and real; third, the distinction between phenomena and principle; fourth, the distinction between bondage and liberation; fifth, the distinction between conditioned and unconditioned; sixth, the distinction between emptiness and existence; and seventh, the distinction between practice and teaching. Regarding sentiment and principle: the self, sentient beings, and so forth posited by deluded sentiment are taken as conventional truth; the principle of non-self is spoken of as ultimate truth.
