- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.288](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1860.1.288)

> The first line contains two meanings: first, an inquiry; second, taking up "not existent" and so forth. Deducing all dharmas in reverse directly reveals that they are from conditions, meaning that if dharmas were truly existent, they should exist even before conditions, without waiting for the assembly of conditions to only then exist. The latter three lines analogously clarify two explanations of true non-existence: first, great space; second, true emptiness. These two are originally empty, without waiting for the separation of conditions to only then be empty. Revealing the dharma through a dissimilar analogy, the principle is also completely established.
