肇論新疏 2.137

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.137](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1860.2.137)

所知者，通屬真妄二境。妄知因境而生，故云生於等。無知亦言生者，實無生相，但因真諦無相，軌則真智成無分別。生者，因也、成也。

> "The known" applies generally to the two objects, true and deluded. Deluded knowing is born due to the object, hence it says "born of," and so on. That non-knowing is also said to be "born" means that there is actually no characteristic of birth; it is merely that because the ultimate truth is animitta, it regulates true wisdom to become non-discriminative. "Born" means "due to" and "accomplished by."
