Furthermore, with the merit thus generated, we vow together with all sentient beings to be forever free, life after life, from rebirth in hell, forever free from rebirth as an animal, forever free from rebirth as a hungry ghost, forever free from rebirth in borderlands as base persons, forever free from unfree bodies, and forever free from the body of a woman; to constantly cultivate purity within the Buddha-Dharma, and to serve as great kalyāṇamitras to all sentient beings.
