- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.48](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1865.1.48)

> This means that although this sixth consciousness is transformed into the taintless state at the initial mind of the first Joyful Ground through the absence of the two discriminated obscurations, the innate obscurations remain. Passing through the Stainless (Vimalā), Luminous (Prabhākarī), Radiant (Arciṣmatī), Difficult to Conquer (Sudurjayā), and Manifesting (Abhimukhī) \[grounds\] up to this Far-Reaching Ground, the innate obscurations are subdued forever without arising, the taintless, pure consciousness constantly arises, and the associated caittas are also transformed into the wondrous observing wisdom (pratyavekṣā-jñāna), constantly illuminating completely and brightly all the realms of the great chiliocosm. This does not speak of a single world, because the wisdom's functioning is universal.
