> 6. According to Master Qishe, he established six tenets of teachings: the first two are identical to Master Yan's; the third is called the tenet of the non-true, clarifying that all Mahāyāna teachings generally speak of all dharmas as like illusions and transformations; the fourth is called the tenet of the true, clarifying the principle of the true tenet of all dharmas and so forth; the fifth is called the tenet of the permanent, clarifying the meaning that the true principle has permanent and eternal merits numerous as the sands of the Ganges; the sixth is called the tenet of the perfect, clarifying that the dharma-realm is sovereign, dependent origination is unobstructed, and its virtues and functions are fully complete, which is also the Avataṃsaka doctrinal approach and so forth.
