These ten terrors are analogous to those relinquished in the prathamā-bhūmi: the five terrors are already severed in the prathamā-bhūmi; here they are raised to demonstrate the correct Dharma of the eighth bhūmi, not to say that the eighth bhūmi actually possesses such terrors.
