- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.11](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1874.1.11)

> Sixth, the Three Jewels are established in terms of practitioners of the three vehicles: for people of the Great Vehicle who take the Buddha's bodhi, namely the various bodhisattvas, the Buddha Jewel is established, because these people seek to become buddhas; for pratyekabuddhas who understand the Dharma spontaneously, the Dharma Jewel is established, because these people only seek to realize the profound Dharma of dependent origination and do not seek Buddha or Saṅgha; for śrāvakas, the Saṅgha Jewel is established, because these people only seek to rely on the Saṅgha to pursue liberation and do not seek anything else.
