> First, regarding the Saṅgha Jewel gathering the two: the wisdom and enlightenment of the bodhisattvas' mind contemplating the middle way is called the Buddha Jewel; this very object and wisdom serving as a standard that produces understanding and teaching in beings is called the Dharma Jewel; this very contemplative mind internally accords with the middle way and externally harmonizes defilements and disputes, hence it is called the Saṅgha Jewel. As the Yingluo jing says: 'For bodhisattvas, wisdom regarding the supreme middle way is the Buddha Jewel; the non-arising of all dharmas, which functions when moved and applied, is the Dharma Jewel; constantly walking the six destinies and harmonizing with sentient beings of the six destinies is called the Saṅgha Jewel, because it transforms all sentient beings to flow into the Buddha-ocean.'
