- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.62](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1878.1.62)

> "Regarding the four propositions on persons: If form is not identical with emptiness, there are two faults: First, the fault that ordinary confusion is not established, because the form that is seen would not be illusory. Second, the fault that an ordinary being could not awaken to become a noble one, because the illusory form that is seen would be blocked off from true emptiness. If emptiness is not identical with form, there are likewise two faults: First, the fault that noble wisdom is not established, because emptiness would be apprehended as being outside form, which is not true emptiness. Second, the fault that the noble does not come from the ordinary, because emptiness would be different from illusory form, and the noble would naturally be noble of itself.
