註華嚴法界觀門 1.349

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.349](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1884.1.349)

謂事與理非一（故陿），即非異故（故廣），不壞一塵而能廣容十方剎海；由非異即非一故，廣容十方法界而微塵不大。是則一塵之事即廣即陿、即大即小，無障無礙。

> This means that phenomena and principle are not identical (hence narrow), and because they are immediately not different \[from principle\] (hence vast), without destroying a single speck of dust it can vastly contain the ocean of kṣetras of the ten directions. Because non-difference is immediately non-identity, it vastly contains the dharmadhātu of the ten directions without the fine speck of dust becoming large. Thus the phenomenon of a single speck of dust is immediately vast and immediately narrow, immediately large and immediately small, unobstructed and unhindered.
