- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.353](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1884.1.353)

以一望多，故有遍容義，以有彼多可一一遍故，可悉容受故。若多望一即無此義，以所望唯一，無可言遍言容，但應云攝入，即當後門。

> Viewing the many from the perspective of the one, there is the meaning of pervasion and containment, because there are those many that can be pervaded one by one and can all be contained. If viewing the one from the perspective of the many, there is no such meaning, because what is viewed is only one, and there is no basis to speak of pervading or containing; one should merely speak of subsuming and entering, which corresponds to the subsequent gate.
