- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.60](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1884.1.60)

> Eliminating sentiment and revealing understanding, the thesis, interrogation, explanation, conclusion, and so forth, are each as before. The four gates simply invert the flow of the text to establish the subsequent texts on the non-obstruction of śūnyatā and rūpa and total annihilation without reliance, corresponding to passages such as "śūnyatā is identical to rūpa" in the Heart Sūtra. Only the third proposition is not an exact antithetical inversion, yet its meaning is not different; it reverses each of the above to establish the Middle Way, with no separate meaning.
