> Originally not a single thing exists; / what need to wipe away dust and dirt? This gāthā illustrates that blue and yellow have no entity, and none are not empty; therefore it says they are identical with the true principle of emptiness. However, in the Commentary emptiness has three meanings to refute form: the meaning of boundlessness, the meaning of indestructibility, and the meaning of non-mixture. This shows that in worldly empty space there is not even any physical form that can remain—how much less in the principle of true emptiness could there be substantial form residing within it?
