> The precise purport of mind-only;
> Every thing reveals true dynamic working.
> This verse: The principle of the One True is clearly manifest everywhere. Fadeng said: "Who believes in the naturally real Buddha, / Arousing compassion in myriad ways? / Smartweed flowers blossom on the ancient bank; / A white egret stands on the sandbar. / Dew drips as courtyard grass grows; / Clouds gather as the creek moon is cold. / At each and every point of instruction, / Look closely and thoroughly." The Zhao lun says: "Things and self share the same root; right and wrong are of one qi. Faint, subtle, profound, and hidden, they can hardly be exhausted by worldly sentiments."
