> Within the gate of Buddhist affairs, not a single dharma is abandoned. The meaning is: phenomena are what can conceal; principle is what is concealed. Through the third \[gate\] forming phenomena, principle is concealed. The Contemplation says: "True principle accords with conditions to form all phenomena, consequently causing phenomena to be revealed and principle not to be revealed. Just as water forms waves: motion is revealed and stillness is concealed. When the dharmakāya transmigrates in the five destinies, it is called sentient beings; when sentient beings appear, the dharmakāya does not appear. This gate exclusively reveals the meaning of forming phenomena."
