- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.179](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1885.2.179)

箭穿江月影，須是射鵰人。此頌理雖如事而異，明異而全同。是雙照而雙遮，故號圓通。夷門推此玄道，唯我帝心禪師無得而得之者也。

> An arrow piercing the river's reflection of the moon / Must be shot by a condor-hunter. This gāthā means that although principle accords with phenomena and is different, clarifying difference it is completely identical. This is both-illuminating and both-obscuring, hence called 'perfect penetration'. Yimen extols this profound path: only our Chan Master Dixin has attained it by non-attainment.
