> Wanting to speak, words cannot reach; / In the forest grove, it is fine to deliberate.
> 'Mind' refers to the contemplating mind without reliance. Arriving here, holy and ordinary sentiments are exhausted, object and wisdom are both darkened; like dead ashes meeting the firewood of defilements and unable to burn, how could speech and thought ever reach it? The passage on clearing traces in the Contemplation says: 'It is beyond the reach of words and unattainable by understanding, making the understanding mind like ashes, impossible to deliberate with thought.' Not reached by words, it makes the eloquent mouth like a wall, impossible to discuss with speech.
