> Fa's Record says: Regarding 'ruler and retinue mutually accomplish, manifesting the scope of phenomena': elsewhere, the three vehicles are merely a retinue and cannot be companions. The meaning here is: the roundness of the seal is the One Vehicle and therefore the ruler; the fifty-four corners are the three vehicles and therefore the companions. Due to the various corners, the roundness of the seal is accomplished; due to the roundness of the seal, the various corners are accomplished; therefore, the One Vehicle and the three vehicles mutually accomplish each other. That each and every corner fully exhausts the roundness of the seal is the manifested scope.
