- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.33](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1894.1.33)

> Question: "Renunciation prioritizes quiet discipline and saving labor, receiving and using what one happens to get to practice the Way with a peaceful mind. Recently I have seen Dharma robes crosswise cut and severed, and then pieced together again, which is called holy deportment. Could wasting effort and hindering the Way ever exceed this? I humbly request you to grant true texts to dispel this ignorance."
