> When a practitioner engages in this contemplation, the merit of a single moment and a single thought is boundless. Therefore, the Kāśyapa Sūtra says: 'All the merits of the sentient beings of a trichiliocosm, \[even if\] like a mani-jewel king, are not equal to someone who practices the dharma of seclusion, corresponds with a pure mind, understands the emptiness of all dharmas, and that there is no coming and no going. The merit of such slight patience cannot be reached by any simile.'
