> Next, to the north of the small lane, is a courtyard called the Courtyard of the Pratyekabuddha Four Truths. Its gate opens to the south. Those with the disposition of a pratyekabuddha delight in hearing these two dharmas, and the Buddha expounds them in accordance with their capacities. Inside is a great hall, and its groves and ponds are pure; this is an extremely secluded dwelling place. Inside is a matched bronze cauldron; when the bell-keeper strikes it, its sound is heard for a full hundred li. It was obtained by digging the earth when this courtyard was being constructed, an offering made by Dṛḍhā's son, a earth spirit.
