- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.32](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1899.2.32)

裕師又說次小巷北第二院，名聖人病坊院。開門如上。舍利弗等諸大聖人有病投中，房堂、眾具須皆備有，醫方、藥庫常以供給。但擬凡聖，非所止。

> Master Yu also stated that the second courtyard to the north of the next small lane is named the Sick Quarter for Holy Ones. Its gates open as described above. When great holy ones such as Śāriputra fall ill, they retreat into it; chambers, halls, and communal utensils are fully provided, and medical recipes and herbal dispensaries constantly supply them. It is designated solely for holy ones; ordinary monks are not to reside there.
