> Answer: Contemplating all phenomena perfectly, they are all called 'six identities'. Therefore, applying the intention of the perfect \[teaching\] to all phenomena, one uses the six identities throughout to determine the stages. The other \[teachings\] are not like this, so one does not use them. If used in accord with those teachings, why would it not be permissible? Yet their shallowness and narrowness are not the primary intent of the teaching.
