- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [10.6](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1911.10.6)

> If when a view arises, a person's sharp wisdom and faculties are mature so that they can correct themselves, or they examine scriptures and treatises to recognize their own errors, such a person is rare to find. If they cannot correct themselves, but encounter a good spiritual friend who clearly points out right and wrong and breaks their mind of views, this too is rare to find. Therefore it is said: 'Because the true Dharma, the one who expounds it, and the audience that listens are rare to find.' When one neither realizes it oneself nor meets a teacher, perverted delineations increase by the day and saṃsāra intensifies by the month; like dragging a crooked log through a dense forest, when will there ever be a time of emergence?
