摩訶止觀 5.252

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [5.252](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1911.5.252)

若由塵起無生心者，塵為有心？為無心？若有心，則無能所；若無，無不能生。又塵為一？為異？一則無能所；異則不能生。檢他心不可得，具如上說。

> If the mind of non-arising arises from the object, does the object have a mind or have no mind? If it has a mind, then there is no agent and object; if it does not have a mind, nothingness cannot produce anything. Furthermore, is the object identical \[with consciousness\] or different? If identical, there is no agent and object; if different, it cannot produce it. Examining the mind \[as arising\] from other yields nothing, just as fully explained above.
