> Subsuming the four unhindered knowledges: The unhindered knowledge of dharmas refers to the names and conventions of the four kinds of four truths; names and conventions are distinguished based on the mind. If there were no mind, who would create names? Having penetrated the one mind and the immeasurable minds, one also knows one name and immeasurable names; names being inexhaustible is called "unhindered knowledge of dharmas". The unhindered knowledge of meaning is that all dharmas and all names return to a single meaning, namely the meaning of reality as it is; this is called "unhindered knowledge of meaning". The unhindered knowledge of expressions is fully understanding the differing expressions of sentient beings in the ten dharmadhātus. The expressions of the ten realms enter into a single expression; knowing one realm is understanding ten realms without any obstruction; this is called "unhindered knowledge of expressions". Furthermore, dharma is the Dharma-gate of the four truths, meaning is the four kinds of the truth of the path, and expression is the four kinds of the truth of suffering (and so on). The unhindered knowledge of delightful eloquence is skilfully responding to conditions and capacities through the four kinds of four truths, revolving and interweaving in inexhaustible preaching, causing others to delight in hearing it. In a single character preaching all characters and all meanings, responding to all voices, according with their capacities and natures so each receives benefit. The intention of concluding and subsuming is as stated above.
