> Sitting upright and contemplating the aggregates and sense entrances is as explained above. Contemplating the aggregates and sense realms while engaging conditions and confronting objects: 'conditions' refers to the six actions, and 'objects' refers to the six sense objects. The Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa says: 'In relation to conditions, the agent arises; in relation to objects, the experiencer arises.' This is as explained in \[the section on\] following one's own thought. If in the Pratyutpanna \[samādhi\] it is constant walking, and in the Lotus and Vaipulya it is half walking; or sweeping, washing, and manual tasks, all involve physical movement: following one's own thought has the most of these. If one does not practice contemplation in the midst of activities, how can one quickly correspond with the principle? We will briefly distinguish its characteristics, following the previous model into ten \[modes\].
