If one embodies and knows that the nature of the mind is neither real nor provisional, and ceases the mind that conditions the real and the provisional, this is called 'correct'. Attentively contemplating that the nature of the mind is neither empty nor provisional, yet without destroying the phenomena of emptiness and provisionality—if one can illuminate and understand in this way, then with regard to the nature of the mind one thoroughly penetrates the Middle Way and perfectly illuminates the two truths. If one can see the Middle Way and the two truths in one's own mind, then one sees the Middle Way and the two truths of all phenomena, yet does not grasp onto the Middle Way and the two truths, because a determinate nature cannot be apprehended. This is called the correct contemplation of the Middle Way.
