> Now, analyzing dhyāna-pāramitā according to these ten meanings: in terms of the text, it briefly gathers the beginning and end of all the teachings of the Buddhas; in terms of principle, it profoundly penetrates the secret treasury of the Tathāgatas. All the perfectly wondrous Dharma realms—whether teaching or practice, whether phenomenal application or principle, from ordinary beings at the start to the ultimate sages at the end—all their causes, effects, practices, and stages are entirely contained within it. If a practitioner deeply penetrates the intent of the gates of dhyāna, then they will naturally understand all the Buddha's teachings without needing to seek elsewhere. Thus the Mahāyāna\[-upadeśa\] states: "For example, pull one corner of a robe, and all parts move."
