> 6. The notion of being devoured: The practitioner further contemplates the corpse being fed upon by worms and maggots, crows plucking out its eyes, foxes and dogs chewing it, tigers and wolves clawing and tearing it, the body mutilated and mottled, falling apart and loathsome. Contemplating the person I love with this, originally the physical body was clean, adorned with clothing, bewitching with charming airs. Now seen broken and destroyed, its original appearance is entirely lost, exceedingly loathsome. One reflects on oneself: 'My body has not escaped this dharma.' With one-pointed samādhi, one eliminates worldly covetous love.
