> Sixth, as for "purification" as the wondrous gate: if the practitioner is able to comprehend and recognize that the original nature of all dharmas is pure, they then attain the inherent-nature dhyāna. Because of attaining this dhyāna, persons of the two vehicles definitely realize nirvāṇa. If it is a bodhisattva who enters the stage of the iron wheel, is complete with the ten faiths, and cultivates practice without stopping, they then give rise to the nine kinds of great dhyāna, namely: inherent-nature dhyāna, all dhyāna, difficult dhyāna, all-gate dhyāna, good-person dhyāna, all-practice dhyāna, affliction-removing dhyāna, present-and-future-world-bliss dhyāna, and pure dhyāna. Relying on these dhyānas, the bodhisattva attains the fruit of great bodhi, having attained it, presently attaining it, or destined to attain it. That "purification" is the wondrous gate—its meaning lies in this.
