> Question: The Buddhist scriptures are immeasurable, and the treatises are also very numerous. Those who propagate the Dharma are a multitude covering the world, and assemblies of those who hear and receive it are found everywhere. Thus the rain of Dharma universally moistens the fourfold assembly, and its dew-like nourishment brings boundless benefit. Having observed and heard what, and for what further benefit, do you compose this treatise?
