> Third, no fault in mindfulness. Because throughout the long night the Buddha has well cultivated the mind in the four bases of mindfulness; because, well cultivating the various profound dhyānas and samādhis, his mind is not scattered; because he has well severed craving for sensual desires and craving for dharmas; because his mind is unattached to any dharma; and because he has attained the supreme place of peace and security—all actions of his mental karma follow knowledge, and therefore there is no fault in mindfulness.
