> "The Prince's second letter: In my youth I revered the true and upright, and as I grew older I became even more devoted. In the intervals of prefectural affairs, I occasionally find time to apply my mind, but ever since arriving here I have truly cherished admiration for you. In my previous letter, I invited the Master to come to the garrison to preach, but have not yet received your reply. Truly, my longing heart, waiting to listen, does not forget for an instant. I again send this messenger, fully hoping you will change your mind, and hope you will bring your disciples, whether few or many. Therefore, as I reported before, I have already instructed men to transport your belongings; awaiting your arrival, our meeting and conversation will be soon. Your disciple Chen Bozhi prostrates himself."
