> Zongchi pays homage. You have again deigned to send instructive decrees, displaying ever more humaneness and compassion. The open-hearted Great Being responds whenever stimulated; how could the power of your original vow fail to bear fruit? I only say that having taken up the Way for but a short time, I cannot bear to be far separated, deeply relying on your mindful protection to open, demonstrate, awaken, and enter. Yuquan, Shizhu, and your original dwelling at Tiantai—relying on your superior efficacy, all can be established, and only then will their resonant influence last forever until the adamantine \[end\]. Letters to Jiangling and decrees to Kuaiji have both instructed the relevant officials to dispatch them at the proper time. Respectfully paying homage. Twenty-ninth day of the seventh month.
