> He asked again: 'When Vaidehī was imprisoned by her evil son, she piteously requested the World-Honoured One to show her a place free of sorrow and distress; when light illuminated the various lands and gathered them onto the golden terrace, she said that she took no joy in other realms and single-mindedly sought the Land of Utmost Bliss. Moreover, the commentary's text broadly describes the Land of Bliss and the realm of suffering, gold and jewels, mud and sand. According to such passages, it is clear that it refers solely to the \[Land where Common Mortals and Nobles\] Dwell Together. Why do you rely exclusively on the theory of the three contemplations and the four lands?'
