> Furthermore, as the Mañjuśrī-prajñā-sūtra says, Mañjuśrī addressed the Buddha, saying: "What is called the single-practice samādhi (ekavyūha-samādhi)?" The Buddha said: "If a man or woman in an empty and quiet place abandons all distracted thoughts, properly aligns the body, directly faces the direction of the Buddha, does not grasp at physical marks, exclusively recites the Buddha's name, and is mindful without rest, then within mindfulness they will be able to see the Buddhas of the three times—past, present, and future." Again, taking this sūtra as proof, it is through the all-embracing mindfulness power of the Buddhas' identical great compassion assisting and providing that they are enabled to see \[the Buddha\]; this is also an adhipati-pratyaya for a pṛthagjana seeing the Buddha in samādhi.
