釋淨土群疑論 5.29

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [5.29](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1960.5.29)

釋曰：有說於三業中用福業及不動業生西方也。三福即是福業。十六觀若得上界定心，即不動業也。有說非三業攝，以三業並據穢土業說，不約淨土論也，故淨土業非三業也。

> Explanation: Some say that among the three karmas, one uses meritorious karma and immovable karma to be born in the Western \[Direction\]. The three kinds of merits are precisely meritorious karma. If, during the sixteen contemplations, one attains a concentrated mind of the higher realms, that is immovable karma. Others say it is not subsumed by the three karmas, because the three karmas are all stated in reference to the karma of defiled lands and are not discussed in reference to a pure land; therefore, pure land karma is not \[one of\] the three karmas.
