> "That land is flat and even,
> abundant and joyful, with many superior persons.
> Jeweled trees of various kinds
> stand arranged, scattering and growing together;
> the roots, trunks, branches, leaves, and flowers
> each have distinct fragrances.
> Moving three times a day with the wind,
> they flutter and rise like blooming flowers,
> spreading over the ground like a woven carpet,
> blending variegated colors, completely smooth and level.
> It is entirely devoid of mountains,
> seas, and plains;
> there are only flowing rivers,
> whose sounds are like the preaching of sūtras.
> Devas and humans enter the water to play,
> just as they desire in their minds;
> letting the water reach their foreheads or brows,
> their wishes are fulfilled in accord with their thought.
> The Buddha's lifespan is as the sands of the ten directions,
> his light is universally boundless;
> the bodhisattvas and disciples
> cannot be calculated or measured.
> If you wish to see that Buddha,
> do not doubt and do not hesitate;
> those who doubt dwell in a womb-palace,
> which can last for five hundred years.
> Those who do not doubt are born on lotus seats,
> joining their hands before the Immeasurable One;
> wishing to travel universally throughout the ten directions,
> they return in an instant.
> Think only of that Bodhisattva,
> who cultivated merit for countless billions of kalpas;
> his original practices brought about such results,
> that he attained the title of World-Honoured One.
> An encounter with a buddha's appearance is rare;
> a brief assembly is hard to hear;
> a land of exposition is hard to meet;
> persons who receive awakening are hard to find.
> If later you encounter an age of decline,
> when the Dharma is on the verge of fading,
> you should unite to uphold and protect it,
> and practice the Buddha's desireless Dharma.
> The Buddha can preach these essentials;
> each should diligently ponder and practice them,
> receiving these immeasurable precepts,
> and practicing them with head bowed in worship life after life."
> Explanation: In the collection of All Sūtras, there is this liturgy of worship.
